A cotton/polyester blend is common in apparel, especially shirts. The blend is durable, maintains its color well, and is soft and light. A cotton/polyester blend is less susceptible to shrinkage, wrinkles, pilling, and static. Regarding care and maintenance, Rayon requires more attention compared to Polyester. Rayon is prone to wrinkling and shrinking when exposed to hot water, thus washing with cold water and keeping away from strong detergents is necessary to maintain its durability and smoothness. In contrast, Polyester can be easily washed and maintained without much concern about damaging the fabric. This makes Polyester a convenient and long-lasting option for everyday care and hygiene.
