They are produced from a specific type of cotton plant called Gossypium barbadense, only found in tropical areas, which is highly susceptible to frost damage. Due to its incredible softness and richness of texture, it is commonly used in high-end clothing and bed sheets. And one highly likable attribute of prima cotton is its pilling resistance due to its long fibers.
